One witness recounts how their female friend alleged she was forced to perform oral sex on Trump at about the age of 13 or 14 in New Jersey.

Another complainant deemed “not credible” by investigators alleged that the Trump golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes in California was at the centre of a sex-trafficking ring between 1995 and 1996.

Investigators appeared sceptical of some of the most lurid allegations made against Trump. “Some of these individuals are reporting second-hand information,” one of the officers noted.

A much lengthier allegation from a woman known as “Jane Doe” was given to the FBI via her lawyer on July 4, 2016, alleging that Epstein and Trump raped her when she was 13 years old. The accusations appear to mirror a lawsuit taken against Trump in June 2016 from a woman named as “Jane Doe”, which was voluntarily dismissed.
