If I spit across White Oak, It'd have landed in Van Nuys. Right there on the 4 corners of Reseda, Encino, Van Nuys and the Sepulveda Basin.

The L.A River was in my Backyard, over the chain link fence. We played down in "The Wash" 65 years ago as kids, but I sure wouldn't let them do it nowadays.

From what I've seen, the Sepulveda Basin is really different, too. Even home to 'Starfleet Academy". (snicker) I think you'll get the joke.

Then, when I was 17, the folks bought a small Motel and we moved up to Lake Crowley and when Mom and Dad sold their Motel there, I moved up to June Lake where I lived for 10 years until I moved out here to Florida almost 40 years ago.
