Is it the pistol grip that spooks everyone, especially nervous lawmakers and wimps?
There are hundreds of "conventional" rifles (i.e., without pistol grips) that fire the same exact 5.56 NATO cartridges as the "assault rifles" and use the same capacity clips.
Is this Colt rifle that Bass Pro Shop and Cabella's sell across the nation an "assault rifle"? They don't call it an "assault rifle". Neither does Colt.
