Here's the deal. Politics doesn't matter in a case like this. Behavior does, action does, financing illicit activity DOES.

There are a lot of high powered players in this game, all of whom are trying to cover their tracks. The fact that Bondi REFUSES to honor a legal order (wait, they don't care about the law) is very telling.

If there's nothing to hide, then why keep hiding it?
