Near miss just yesterday.
Now a close call at JFK.
The explanation I’ve heard, put it on the ATC people…
Maybe it’s true; they are overworked and underpaid
and receiving little recognition, but they are really
benefiting hugely from engaging in this practice
of ‘oops’ which is putting peoples lives at risk*.
Naawww. That’s not true, but I’m not flying to the
Island this year. I’m considering a concert and
jumping ship.
So, other than to stockholders and shareholders n
Chairsitters, where is the monetary gain received
from having each ATC person responsible for five
incoming or departing flights instead of three,
reducing the number of personnel on payroll,
times how many airports?

After we slid down the ramp, and there were
no explosions, it was kind of exciting in a way,
but crazy people with guns do scare me -
