For more than a decade:
Human drivers (rideshare, taxi, delivery, couriers):
Could get tickets
Could lose their license
Could get arrested
Could have their insurance rates raised
Could lose their job
Meanwhile:
Robo Taxi companies:
Could operate fleets of cars
Could break traffic laws
Could not receive tickets
Could not lose a “driver’s license”
Could not be penalized the way humans are
And yet Robo Taxi's were directly competing with human drivers for the same work.
Does that seem fair?
Am I just biased because I'm a human driver?
