Marxism is to Economics what the Perpetual Motion Machine is to Physics. Consider the Perpetual Motion Machine as described in many places under the rubric "Free Energy". It offers GREAT opportunities for technology: Cars, Planes, Homes, Factories all running without fuel. What a miracle! No more energy problems! It is a great idea except for ONE FACT. Not one single SUCCESSFUL Perpetual Motion Machine has ever been demonstrated.

Marxism might be attractive except for ONE FACT. Not one single SUCCESSFUL Marxist nation exists or has ever existed. Why in Hell would we want to try a system that has failed 100% of the times it has been tried? Would you go to a doctor who killed 100% of patients?

Marxism has been tried in nations comprising billions of persons and has failed utterly. Why should we try a FAILED economic system?
