Profits are created when businesses provide a good or service that benefits people. The computer in front of you, that cell phone/browser/camera/calculator in your pocket, and that vehicle equipped with navigation and safety technology were all created by businesses which created jobs and dividends that support retirement income for retired people.

None of that is available to the “working class” without a free market system which allows people to profit if they create value for others.

Jeff Bezos once worked at a McDonalds. He created a company that allows the “working class” to buy things and have them delivered to their front door. Good for him and the millions who benefit from his value creation.
