I admire your ability to find good aspects, but just to add a somewhat contrary take, I recently elected to stop participating here. That decision was made because a handful of problem children* dominate the postings to the point where wading through their trolling and insult-slinging to find actual reasoned discourse has become a "juice isn't worth the squeeze" situation. Moreover, the way some otherwise decent, civil, and reasoned people behave here was threatening to ruin relationships all parties put some real effort into building. I elected not to risk that.
