I'm not sure; he may have been the king that had William_Tyndale killed for translating the Bible into English; they didn't want the 'simpletons' to have access to the Bible. His last words were “Lord, open the king of England’s eyes.” King James may have been the king after Tyndale's execution. But I'm really not sure.
