believing in billion dollar Bombers, Missile Systems and Aircraft Carriers, while not understanding how cheap Drones have changed warfare for smaller countries and even criminal cartels. This is an old problem with aging generals fighting new types of warfare before they learn new tactics are required.


I understood this the moment Drones became a cheaper successful form of warfare. Even our street gangs could afford to take on police this way. Seemed rather obvious to me, even though I am eighty years old myself.
