I’m still trying to figure out how the Wright Brothers
got us off the ground in 1903 and 4 decades later
people in London were dodging Von Braun’s V-2’s
while allied fighters tried to shoot down the new jet
Messerschmitt 262’s and a quick 2 decades later
we were fixing to be walking on the Moon.

That’s like one small step for a man,
and one giant… leap for mankind.

For 12 or 15,000 years, if we wanted to get somewhere,
we pretty much walked, or maybe used an animal to
ride or pull a wheeled cart, after someone came up
with the ideal use of the idea of a wheel… then it
was just a matter of time.
