I hate to break it to you, but the federal government is already bankrupt.

We are $40 trillion in debt. Our entitlement programs are unsustainable in their current form. Billions of federal tax dollars spent on public education have been ineffective. Medicare and Medicaid are rife with fraud and abuse.
Sure Trump deserves some blame, but the real culprit is the notion that politicians can solve the fiscal problems they created in the first place.
