There are no successful socialist states.

Former Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen famously clarified in a Harvard University speech that "Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy."

They may have high taxes, which limits their economic growth, but Denmark is a capitalist nation.
