When government ignores the market and arbitrarily raises tariffs on countries like China, they reciprocate make our products more expensive opening the door for China to purchase cheaper products from other countries. The US loses business, revenue, and jobs.
American businesses love to compete in free markets. When those markets are manipulated, Americans lose.
