Car dealerships profit more from "service" than from sales. They like to sell gas cars that need services like "oil change" or "tune up". They sell cars with complex gas engines with a lot of weird extra parts that need too much service compared to simple reliable EV's.

I like my EV because it doesn't need as much service and repair as a gas car.
