The United States is 250 years old.
Christianity is about 2000 years old.
Egyptians and Romans have 3,000 years.

Some of the native Central and South American Empires
began over 4,000 years ago when some of the first written languages were being developed and colossal structures
of stone were being erected.

At that time, a modern homo sapiens species had been
walking around for nearly 300,000 years before settling
into small communities which rapidly grew in population
and in size and number of structures.

The history of this growth indicates that all this happened
simultaneously in various groups on various continents.

Scientific investigation has discovered little trace of where
the knowledge and ability to do these things originated.

Religious tenets offer nothing that holds substance.

Now we are faced with a universe so vast that it seems mathematically improbable that Homo sapiens are the
only intelligent life that’s been created, and we still have
no clue how it really all happened.

The last 150 years of human existence on the planet has
seen the development of technology industries capable
of offering gifts many didn’t know they needed and only
a few imagined could exist.
