The first time I stomped on the throttle, it scared me. It was even quicker than I expected. After a while, it started to get boring, with no exciting engine growl or tire spin. I understand why some people prefer growling gas engines.
My Tesla will be in service until Thursday evening, so I only have two more days to have fun with this scary fast car. I'm 62, I'm mature and experienced enough to know how to be careful.
It also has "full self driving". "Full self driving" has improved a lot since the last time I tried it. This technology will eventually replace paid human drivers like me.
I bought My Tesla before Elon Musk got into politics. I gave him almost $45,000 for the car, and now he wastes that money supporting politicians I disagree with. Instead of worrying about politics, I'm going to have fun driving this fast loaner car for a couple days.

I'm driving a car with a 2.9 second 0–60 time and 11.0 second quarter-mile time. - Ken C November 4, 2026, 9:44 am
