The House, with all 435 voting seats in play, is probably a given, and no matter will be of greater priority to its new leadership than impeachment. But can the Democrats get the net four seats* required to get a conviction? Even if they retain all 13 of their own party's seats up for grabs, they'll have to turn four out of the 22 Republican seats in play. Once highly unlikely but now much more attainable...yet still a big challenge.

*barring any Republican senators who might cross the aisle on this one, and if opinion gets much more lopsided against Trump, some may do just that, looking towards their own runs for re-election

It's been a bloodbath for the GOP in state-level elections so far this year, but national-level elections (particularly for Senate seats) are a different critter. Vastly different levels of spending alone guarantees that.

Hopeful, though...

If the dems win the house, they will be lame ducks for a minimum of 2 years.

The reps will keep the Senate, so impeachment and conviction are out.

Anything the dems would try to pass would be shot down by the Senate or vetoed.

It's your side that is willing to take children from their parents if they do not want their children to have their genitals cut off.

Lots of children that have gone through this surgery have come forth and said it was wrong for them to make that choice. But yet the Dems deny their testimony.

The list of what's wrong with the Democratic Party is so long it would take all day to type it up and write it in this response and another day to find all the proof.

For instance, over 500,000 women in America have suffered from female genital mutilation. But your side evidently doesn't care because you turn a blind eye to it, as if these women don't have any rights. AND that people here in the states are Islamophobic if they say anything about it.

At this point in time I'd say that there is almost nothing right about the Democratic Party. Your party has been hijacked by radicals using you as a floor mat.

Face reality, in the time it would take to impeach Trump and convict him, he'll be retired.
It'll have no traction.

You'd better focus more on running a winnable candidate to run against the GOP candidate.
