How is it that most every chat board ends up being an idiotic liberal hellhole?

Just look at this board ... predominately overrun by brainless anti-Trump heathens.

Rogue trolls, including MikeyRug Scalise, CHE, Chico, otto, KR and Lucy, harass and attack respectful posters like Arwen, Deanna and Dara with abusive, vulgar, misogynistic assaults.

R&E has become a liberal cesspool too, and if you challenge a liberal poster, they will DNR you.

trish DNR-ed me for no good reason at all ... her loss.

Then, there's Ultramarine Blew, off in a world of its own.

My board is open to posters who are respectful of others, but the minute they show their nasty side, they're out. Most of the trolls who roam this and the other boards have already been permanently banned for repeated violations. They periodically use a proxy server to come over and assault our posters, but we quickly flush them down the drain.

I shouldn't feed the trolls here with responses, it's a total waste of time, but they thrive on push-back, and I hate to see them go to bed hungry.

I (largely) don't...as you've doubtless noticed. THey tend to get a bit bent out of shape about it, too.

Tell us, Poppet...Where do suggest for level headed discussion?

technically Mondo is a troll, insulting posters who are not Republican MAGA.

A person who posts on social media sites exclusively (or nearly so) in a manner intended not to further discussion, inform, or in any other meaningful way contribute to the site, but instead to cause strife, insult other users, prevent reasoned discussion, and in general make the site worse. Most seem to gain particular satisfaction from driving other users away.

Trolls are often particularly egregious on political forums, since that subject tends to bring out the worst in people.

You oughta see how DU Forums troll, using your definition...
