Artemis II mission … $4 billion. Total waste of money.

I tend to agree. We could do an unmanned mission to map the dark side of the moon for far less.

What additional strategic information will we learn from this costly mission? Probably none.

The government can't resist spending money it doesn't have. All financed with additional debt.

True, but we could use that money for other things, like housing for homeless vets, border control.

is destroyed. Feel the sunshine on our skin. It stings. The sun had a yellow cast several decades ago. Now it’s a blinding white. We partook of the fruit of that proverbial tree of knowledge. The apples were fermented. Humanity is drunk on its own race to the bottom. All we have accomplished imo is to destroy the natural order and turn our pristine planet into a global junkyard. The US had a Saturn 5 rocket. It was the workhorse for land men on the moon. Inexplicably, the Apollo Missions were cancelled. Everyone is still scratching their heads. Now they do what was already accomplished. And 6,000 miles out from the moon? What are they afraid of some people ask.

Exactly, but the rich don’t care about that.

They want to mine Helium 3 someday on the moon
