Listening to David Letterman
talking with Steven Colbert:
David just said ‘When you buy some thing
for your Child, don’t take anything for
granted. When my boy was six we
bought him a German Shepherd.
Turned out it wasn’t a dog, it was an
old guy from Germany who was a
shepherd.’
I laff’d -
I never knew Ed Sullivan grew up in Rye,
near my Hometown, then later on, built
the Ed Sullivan studio in New York City!
I also did not know that, more later on,
David Letterman bought the studio.
Renovated the studio. Started ‘The
Late Show’, etc.
The May 14 episode of The Late Show
with Stephen Colbert is worth a view,
if you have an hour to spare.
