Samsung is yet another business leaving business unfriendly New Jersey.

The company is moving headquarters to Texas to take advantage of a more friendly regulatory environment and more favorable tax rates for both the business and employees.

While Democrats are embracing socialism, the rest of the country is celebrating free markets and capitalism.

Good to see.

Exxon Mobil, Johnson & Johnson, and others who have decided to relocate due to greedy politicians are not good for the local economy. Job loss due to Samsung is expected to be more than a thousand.

You can’t replace those jobs and that tax base with cheap carpet companies.

That means a thousand or more new jobs in Texas

You advocate free markets so Samsung has every right to move their company to Texas and New Jersey has every right to run the State the way they see fit.

Most people would be concerned about businesses leaving their state due to tyrannical policies of elected officials. They would be curious about the root cause because of the negative impact on jobs and the tax base.

You, on the other hand, say “good riddance” as if you don’t care if people lose their jobs or your taxes go up because the tax base narrows.

Yes, thank goodness (and the Constitution) that people and businesses have the freedom to choose, but those choices have consequences. Just ask the people of Seattle and New York who recently elected Democrat mayors.
