The U.S. Department of Justice investigated Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 results.

A special counsel concluded there was enough evidence to sustain a conviction for attempting to overturn the election.

Trump was indicted in 2023 for a “criminal scheme” to subvert the election.

These cases were later dismissed only because DOJ policy prevents prosecuting a sitting president, not because the evidence was disproven.

Trump alao pressured Georgia officials to “find” votes and was investigated for election interference.
