Joe Biden in his 1967 Corvette with Jay Leno

I like the part when he talks about his son Beau (at 9:30), before his son Beau died of brain cancer in 2015, he made Joe Biden promise that he would not retreat from public life. Beau was concerned that his father would withdraw into grief and made him give his "word as a Biden" to stay engaged and continue trying to improve the country.

Sounds like a "Useless Luxury"...

Jay Leno Took a $15M Pay Cut To avoid laying off some of his crew and to pay his staff better.

Jay also confirms the rumor that to this day he still hasn't spent a penny of his Tonight Show earnings.

Your assertion is not supported by the video you provided.

Leno took a pay cut. That is entirely different than wanting to pay more taxes. Thankfully we live in a country where people like Leno can donate their earnings so that others can benefit. That is charity and is worthy of praise and admiration. Paying more taxes so that the money goes into the hands of greedy politicians who consistently use it to pad their pockets and the pockets of others in exchange for power and votes is not worthy of praise.

There is nothing in your video that even remotely suggests that Leno “would be happy to pay more taxes.”
