Why would anyone in their right mind ...

... buy this butt-ugly painting for $48,000?

So far, they haven't. This violent assault on the eyes has been on the market for a long time now.

Because They Are Tasteless Idiots.

Something about eye of the beholder.

Dalí was a pervert

Put the label on the table. Call a name if that’s your game.
The man accomplished more with his work than mine.
Chance may be it’s the same with you as it is with me.
Though I admit to being surprised at the number of lives
I’ve touched as much.

Whack-O!

Git out'ta here!

His "art" pales in comparison to Benson, Hassam, Manet, Monet, Seurat, Sisley, Degas, Renoir and Botticelli and dozens of others.

Here's your official art lesson:

'Portrait of My Daughters' by Frank Weston Benson

'Promenade - Winter, New York' by Childe Hassam

'Berthe Morisot' 1869 by Édouard Manet

'Garden at Sainte-Adresse' 1867 by Claude Monet

'A Sunday on La Grande Jatte' 1884 by Georges Seurat

'Boulevard Héloïse, Argenteuil' 1872 by Alfred Sisley

'L'Absinthe' by Edgar Degas

'Bal du moulin de la Galette' by Pierre-Auguste Renoir

'The Birth of Venus' by Sandro Botticelli, ca. 1483

Dalí’s art is interesting. Everything you posted is boring.

You just have old boring taste.

A lot of the master artwork is relatively boring when you look at it.

Very boring.

You two Yahoos know nothing about art, sculpture and architecture.

And it shows, big time!

Sterile, uneducated bozos.

You are dumber than a rabbit in a snake pit.

You create some very interesting and unique art.

I have followed it over the years.

Thank you...

...but I haven't fired up my Fractal Generator since I got this new computer.

My 3D printing has consumed me for the past 10 years, instead. (and it's more profitable)
