If they help corporations a lot and only help the poor human workers a little, that will still be a little help for the poor human workers. That would still be better than nothing.

After 100,000,000 Americans bought them, China, Russia, Iran, et al. would put a program in them to make them to kill you.

If it helps society by creating value for consumers, that is good. If it helps corporate America by creating jobs for Americans and dividends for shareholders (and portfolios funding retirement plans) that is great also.

If it pisses you off, that is just a bonus.
