Most all of my Christian friends have managed to be pretty well off and comfortable with their place in life in spite of 2000 years passing with very little persecution. Whenever they have any issues, they take them to the God and receive what they need to get by, except for BOB*, who hung himself one night.
Some of my Muslim friends from Iran are still riled by what was done to the president they elected. When I point out that that happened over 77 years ago, and it was a different time, they brush that aside with their anger that it continues, and I do find that to be an unfortunate truth.
I think that the wars that were fought for resources, territory and wealth became deceptive battles of ideology, but all the bodies still bled red, and 19th century technology set the stage for 20th century technology to show some of the most horrific events in known human history to plant the seed of the need for a united humanity, and a form of World government, which’d require a superior intelligence to run it as we reach for the stars; and that’s where people like Musk, and the Spacemen come in.
