As you get older, your body does get older too! I feel one of the most important things is to keep swinging when you get the chance. The thing to do if you can, is continue when you can go to the gym and do more light weight/high reps with a good routine. Continue with batting practice when ever you can... You are not going to mysteriously get stronger, but you will keep your attitude right... It is a matter of getting in a little work... Take swings when you can. It is the same thing as you get older. Try swinging a heavier bat when taking swings and build your power with practice... It is a matter of practice to me. Ok?
