Fairly popular on the wireless and later on TV, they were a step up from the usual drag acts insomuch as they actually had talent, a decent act and played their roles straight rather than the "glam" acts such as Danny la Rue. Their predilection for Noel Coward, G&S and operetta in general wasn't mainstream enough for many so they faded from primetime scheduling after a while and I believe George Logan called time after Pat Fyffes early death from cancer and retired to France to run a B&B.
