My dad used to "collect" Yorkshire wordplay, really any sort of wordplay or pun was a linguistic passion. He was (and I am) a longtime listener to "I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue", especially for the segment called "Uxbridge English Dictionary". Such stereotyping nonsense as:
Twerk: Where a Yorkshireman goes as employment.
The language (and its regionalisms) is the biggest playground for the mind, and its free!
