1) Morning Glory are coming in thickly, now. One of the few things I understand well enough to actually have grow in the garden.
2) This year has seen the garden a refuge for rabbits. We always have them and I enjoy them, but this year has been especially active. Earlier in the season, I accidentally upset a nest in the front lawn; young rabbits took off in all directions. This one shot across the road so we caught him and brought him back so he didn't risk the return trip.
Later on, I photographed one of his mates by the front door:
A couple weeks ago, we were treated to the sight of a mother rabbit and four little guys on the front lawn. A new crop, I suspect she was teaching them the skills of the weaned. This morning, this guy (half grown, now) was out between the workshop and the house having at the abundant clover.
3) Grover and his mates are trim little adult robins now. They are still hanging around, but the lot of them will be gone by mid-August. I shall miss that circus!
