More than one might think. They have a way with putting a unique stamp or spin on many things we tend to think of as our own or as something we're best at. For all the gloom we think is their national character, nothing could be further from the truth. I seem to remember reading something on the Beeb to the effect that they actually are the happiest (in the context of mental health) nation in Europe. I can say Finland is the home of some of the best car racers in the world. They actually teach their young to drive, not merely how not to crash like the Americans do. There is a saying in motorsport, "If you want to win, hire a Finn."
