I’ll freely admit to getting lost in stretches of this. Despite having taken numerous high school and college level science and engineering classes, I get lost in many of the notional concepts, a lot of which were theoretical or “unproven” some 40-50 years ago. I compounded this by not investing much time in reading science fiction, apparent bedrock in understanding or even contemplating what may come down the road.

The space/time continuum is fascinating indeed. I had a wonderful high school physics teacher that tried to help us make sense of it, the whole relativity thing and how it can manifest practically. The concept of one twin being sent into space, traveling at high speed for an extended period of time, returning a few seconds younger in age as compared to his/her twin sibling. It all seemed rather remarkable.

Eventually, if/when you attempt to assemble the tiles into a running story, I fear you’ll have to embellish some of the concepts presented, at least for dunder-heads like me, lol.
