You'll have to forgive the various authorial interjections!...It may not even be coherent as my word processors and my own limitations make this like the labours of Sisyphus..
(Greek mythology: Sisyphus was the king of Corinth who was punished in Hades by having to repetitively roll a huge stone up a hill only to have it roll back down ...)
I've been dying to write, touch base with someone - anyone - despite the problems but the content is a weird mixture of reality and fantasy because the mix of meds makes it sometimes seem the one is the other, not unpleasant but often surprising.
I've been experiencing extremely realistic dream sequences that leave me surprised to subsequently discover that it/they didn't happen and sometimes my wife is annoyed at my being apparently awake but not responding or having any idea about what she was talking to me about.
As for the story of Brythan I might as well start again because I couldn't replace what is missing but then again I may not have the time to finish it or its illustrations given the circumstances affecting me.
Brocks Barn's geography is basically that of Broxbourne minus the rows of semi detached housing, the railway and the New River and in fact anything built after approx 1500 give or take a century and making anachronistic inclusions to suit the story line, such as the water mill.
I wish I had thought to photograph all the places I explored as a boy it might help to jog my memory although the aforementioned dreams have been doing so with amazing accuracy. It seems like I'm going further and further back in time as they progress.
Last nights was quite startling because I saw my mother and father all in white recumbent on a white bed much larger than a normal bed and mother looked like a young girl so much so that I would not have recognized her if my father hadnt been there too.
