I also find it very interesting to watch how they don't jump well; no leaping up on the cuboard or countertops like Hobbes finds easy to do. However, they can climb at a dead run which is amazing to watch. No slowing down from running horizontally to the vertical, just power their way up the cat trees as fast as they go across the floor, which is dam quick.
I forever marvel at the differences between the Manx cats here and dear old Hobbes the Ginger Tom, and unlike Hobbes, when in a deep sleep and completely relaxed those oversized Manx rears are naturally laid out straight.
