I'm not adverse to flying, although I don't care for it much anymore. Deregulation of the airlines (1978) went a long way toward creating the current debacle. Americans demand nearly everything at the lowest possible price, so this is what you get. I remember when you dressed up to fly; today it's acceptable to look like you just rolled out of bed.

Now that Boeing, and likely Airbus as well, has forsaken the rivet for space-age polymers, literally gluing their planes together like just another Airfix, maybe I should reconsider that whole aversion to flying, lol.
