The tree is a product of Canada, decently realistic in form and detail, and the LED lighting modern enough for a warmer spectrum light than the usual cold blue-white of untailored LEDs.
While I very much appreciate the lack of maintenance required and have gleefully chucked the incandescent strings, I kept what I call "speciality lights", strings of candle-lights, red ones with faux-poinsettia, and my beloved bubble-lights (that most delightful of mid-century American plastic Christmas kitsch; I just love 'em.)
The LEDs on this tree aren't so obnoxious as to not serve as fill for whatever incandescent speciality-lights might be chosen on a given year. They are getting better.
I keep my eyes open at jumble sales for extras to the strings of special ones we chose from, since incandescents have been eliminated from the new marketplace, as I understand it. They should outlast me, anyway.
