He was quite civil in his tone and presentation of what style satire and comedy appeal to him, and your reply was to me rather rude, if I'm honest.
I must admit I don't find Randy Rupert very amusing myself; a lot of work put in something rather more a sledgehammer than a stiletto.
As far as Biden's administration, the role-call doesn't impress.
Inflation denied as the costs of living are instead cloaked by using selective data (what is chosen as an element in the index of inflation) and by reducing product size to hide price rises (a loaf of bread or a bar of soap reduced in size or how much air in a bag of chips though the price of a loaf, bar, or bag is reported constant). The cost of living rise here is hidden, not successfully dealt with as claimed.
Veterans Affairs is a shambles, health care going through the roof, university education and the debt incurred undealt with, the environmental outlook is still as bleak.
Immigration is a shambles. In four years a meaningful suit against Trump and his sycophants for 06Jan still not close to being heard, Afghanistan was comedic if it hadn't ended so embarrassingly. No clear mission or effective rules of engagement in Syria resulting in the deaths of soldiers (not even regular soldiers but National Guard. What the hell are they doing there?) likewise the Gulf, financing genocide in Gaza, no end to the financial haemorrhage that is the Ukraine...
BTW, what do we have to show for the trillion or so of infrastructure money back in his first year? Seems to have vanished without noticeable result.
He ran on a platform of healing and reconciliation. Immediately the PCism became policy, while the cornerstone in women's rights was lost with nary a response. The divisions are worse now than ever.
Before you try and defend this record of accomplishment by saying his administration wasn't the cause of it, his administration did nothing effective about any of it. That's the important part.
Meanwhile, his party believes he is the only chance of defeating Trump and the fascists. I don't believe it for a minute. I really don't think he can. He is too old, too mentally infirm, too rooted in an agenda he wrote in 1980, and he resorts to temper tantrums when criticised rather than learning something and trying again. His mental frailty is showing and will only get worse as another term might unfold.
His VP is an anathema yet her chances of getting handed a Bible increase by the day. Should that happen, she'll be so far out of her depth as to make the Cheese Lady look like a successful PM. Harris is out of her depth in a carpark puddle and brings no strength to the ticket.
Other than that, a fine four years result.
I still fear Trump's return more, but given the choice laid before us, my gut cannot shake the premonition that he is returning simply because there is no strong competent alternative.
