I remembered my schooldays and viewing a solar eclipse using pinhole projection. I'm south of the total eclipse track for one that occured today in North America but still very cool to see.
First attempt at 1440.
Made a nicer aperture using plasticard and a drillbit and shot again against a flat grey surface (a well-weathered birdfeeder). This is as covered as we got here, 92% at 1520.
