Riding a Pullman from White Sulphur Springs to NYC and/or the 'burbs for less than two bucks seems a remarkably inexpensive extravagance. That's a long haul. Then again, 1932 is the nadir of the Great Depression, so such a rate structure an enticement to travel, perhaps.
