American houses rarely have a library, and I could make all sorts of comments as to why. GRIN!
Here is an overview of the space:
Not completely reduced to as few items as possible, but the way I want it. There are a few of my old berets and hats from the Army and quite a population of various souvenirs mementos from my life in the UK, Europe, and Africa. There is a lovely old fusee clock made in Manchester in the 1840s up on the wall, and lots of books.
When America gets to be a bit much and I'm not feeling like I fit, it's just a nice place to escape it all.
