Supervised introductions are underway, now, a little sooner than I usually do but all seem pretty amenable.
The name "Lucy" seems to fit naturally, no real effort in thinking it up or remembering to call her by the name.
Yesterday evening she sallied forth from the room she has been living in, exploring every nook and cranny down the back hall, bath, into the kitchen.
First encounter was Hobbes. She hissed and he actually was quite indignant, hissing back and fluffing up. Looked very silly as he is already better than twice her size. I figured the attitude would show on her part and it did. Hobbes was quite miffed, but no signs of being upset in general.
She hissed at Grrr, who pretty much just looked at her with an expression of some disdain and went away on her business. Lucy kinda gave up on the hissing bit by time she met the Swede, who had no reaction at all to the newcomer; pretty much "Oh, so that's what has been behind the door." Caledonia slept through the whole exercise so they haven't met yet.
Lucy and Hobbes have some fences to mend but in reality nothing really unexpected let alone violent, not even a poke. Probably a few more such forays today and through the weekend. Importantly, no behaviour shifts or sulking on anyone's part and Lucy knows where "her" room is to scoot back to if things get a bit much, so no panic hiding expected.
