Mr. Shelby's Cobra isn't my cup of tea, but a Sunbeam Tiger with a 298/302 Ford is actually a fun drive. I absolutely adore a TVR with a 302. They are just mad cars and are completely merciless if your ego exceeds your ability. I almost bought a 302 Windsor powered 2500m a few years ago. Make a mistake in that car and it will bite your head off and bury your body in the forest. Just a fantastic machine!

The problem with the Cobra really is the big Cobra; the 289 Cobra is by far the better driver's car. Still, my opinion of any Cobra is the same as my opinion of an E-type Jaguar. Lovely car as long as it is someone else's and I don't like driving either; just vile near the limits.
