There is a reason her name is Grrr. GRIN!

One evening this week I went to bed and neglected to turn off the heating pad I was using in my chair. Grrr took no time to discover this and take full advantage.

My son, being well-trained in the fire-prevention arts, checked the pad before he headed upstairs to bed, noticed it was on, picked up the switch, and shut it off.

The simple act of turning off the switch, not shooing the cat or otherwise disturbing her, just switching off the switch, got him a growl and a clear emphatic hiss from who is otherwise the sweetest tempered cat. She knew exactly what that switch was for and what he did, and she was not at all amused.

She is no fool, that cat.
