I rode my motorcycle and sidecar in weather like that and the Mighty Vulcan was stable even on black ice! A superbly well balanced machine even it could barely cope when we were on the New Jersey turnpike and encountered a hailstorm with stones the size of marbles. We took shelter under an underpass and eventually had to look for the nearest motel, thoroughly frozen and utterly exhausted.

Needless to say I was crawling along the shoulder with my hazards on, praying some idiot wouldn't lose control and kill us! I think it was one my best examples of skillful piloting what with a combos tendency to slew at the slightest provocation but that Vulcan the finest bike I've ever ridden helped me stay alive.
