I, for one, loved Forsyth's The Odessa File, a book I considered perhaps his best. Aside from Miller's well-built girlfriend, the thought of the young German tearing around the countryside in his XK-150S always appealed to me. It was one of a number of things they butchered in the film, having replaced the Jag with some sorry Benz abomination.

Terrible, just terrible.
