I have a huge soft spot for that particular prime mover and the locomotive it subsequently ended up in.

When I was a youngster making Hoffman presses at a local engineering shop, one of the windows looked out onto a viaduct which was the solitary line for these behemoths into the local station and always caused one to look and listen to them no matter what the frequency of their arrivals. These locomotives always bore a name as well the usual engine number and one that comes to mind is "The Royal Highland Fusilier" now in preservation, albeit looking a damn site better than when in B.R service. (laughs)

Strange how something like this video can evoke the sights,sounds and smells of long ago.
