Not sure about still with us, John Le Mesurier cashed in his chips over 40 years ago (1983) whilst Ripping Yarns is just shy of 50 (1976).

Oddly enough it's one of the first DVD box sets I bought with the pilot episode, "Tomkinson's Schooldays" being my favorite.
