I have to admit there is something quite satisfying about restoring old kit and giving it a second run in the sun so to speak, especially the things that have sat there, metaphorically staring at you every time you walk past and yelling "FIX ME NOW!"

That wonderful moggy timepiece looks remarkably like Felix the cat, the Hammond clock also looks like a thing of service and an interesting history behind it too.

It also occurs to me that this is not only therapeutic for you but a welcome distraction from your recent medical trials and tribulations.
